“Laghutvam” is derived from two Sanskrit words – ‘Laghu’ and ‘Tattvam’. Laghu(लघु) in Sanskrit means lightness and Tattvam or Tattva (तत्त्व) means principle. Put together, this forms the Laghutvam program, where the teacher leads the session to achieve lightness through practice.
Laghutvam – Mysore Yoga Practice at Bharatha Yoga Shala offers led classes, with flows designed to match the proficiency of the group. Guided by expert Bharatha Yoga teachers, practitioners gain a deeper understanding of their strengths and weaknesses, fostering self-awareness that supports goal-setting and balanced progress
Level III: Advanced Practice: Designed for experienced practitioners ready for more challenging sequences.

Rooted in classical tradition, Bharatha Yoga is a Mysore-based institute dedicated to sincere seekers on the path of inner awareness. Each offering supports the union of breath, body, and subtle energies — balancing Ida and Pingala, awakening Sushumna, and aligning with the five Mahapranas. With programs like YTTC’s, Kramatvam, Laghutvam, and Arogyam, the shala offers a space for transformative practice at every stage of the journey. Students are invited to return — not just to form, but to source.
