Yoga Holiday in Mysore at Bharatha Yoga Shala

A Pause Not From Life, But For Life

Step away from the noise of everyday life and into a space of stillness, reflection, and gentle transformation. The Bharatha Yoga Holiday isn’t a typical retreat — it’s a conscious pause. A quiet turning inward.
This yoga holiday in Mysore, India offers a chance to reconnect with yourself through daily traditional practice, bringing more balance, awareness, and clarity into your life.

Here, the word holiday takes on a different meaning. This is not a getaway for indulgence or escape — it’s a return. To your breath, your body, and the clarity that lives beneath the surface of your day-to-day.

Set just 4 km from Mysore’s Gokulam area and a short walk from Kukkarahalli Lake, our yoga shala is surrounded by trees and birdsong — a serene refuge remarkably close to the city, yet deeply removed from its distractions. Here, yoga is more than movement; it becomes a way of being.

Rooted in the wisdom of classical texts like the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, this 6-day immersion begins with the body — preparing it through asana, breathwork, and cleansing practices to open the path inward. With guided self-practice, yoga kriyas, pranayama, meditation, and nourishing daily rhythms, each day invites you to reconnect with your inner pace.

Whether you’re seeking clarity, healing, or stillness, this space offers gentle support and personal guidance, including one-on-one time with Acharya Bharat Shetty. Mindful rituals, silence, and community weave through each day — not as demands, but as invitations.

This is a holiday not from your life — but a deep, meaningful return to it.
